Affont 1.0.7: German, Thai and the German umlauts
What’s new:
- Affont is now available in German and Thai, including the Affinity scripts.
- The template’s Latin character set now includes the German letters (Ä, Ö, Ü, ß) and low quotation marks („ ‚), and “Build accented” also builds the umlauts.
- New Thai character set: vowels and tone marks are drawn over a dotted circle, and in the font they sit on top of the previous letter.
To get the new character sets in the template, import the Affinity scripts again: in Affont, Settings ▸ “Scripts for Affinity (.afscripts)…”; in Affinity, Script Library ▸ ▾ menu ▸ Import scripts… (delete the old “Affont” category first).
Need a character that isn’t in any set? Type it in the “Extra” field when you create the template and it gets its own cell to draw in.
